Generative engine optimization (GEO) is the work of making your business one of the names AI engines mention and cite when your buyers ask questions. Our GEO services take you from "we don't know where we stand" to "we are measurably more visible every month," across ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini and Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Copilot (Microsoft) and Claude (Anthropic). We deliver this through three services — an AI Visibility Audit, a GEO Build Sprint, and a Monthly Retainer for AI Visibility Monitoring — all built around a single measurement framework so every engagement ends with a number you can audit, not an opinion.

The full offering

Most providers sell either a vague "AI content" package or a dashboard of metrics with no plan attached. We do neither. Our offering is a sequence: understand where you stand, fix what is holding you back, then keep measuring and improving as engines change. You can enter at any stage, but the three services are designed to work together. The audit establishes your baseline and the priorities. The build sprint implements the highest-impact fixes. The retainer re-tests monthly, maintains your gains, and adapts as competitors move and engine behaviour shifts. For a plain-English primer on the discipline itself, see What is GEO and GEO vs SEO.

Our method: Audit → Build → Monitor

We run a defined, repeatable process rather than an open-ended retainer with no checkpoints.

1) Audit (baseline). We test 20–30 real buyer prompts across the major engines, three runs each, and record where competitors are cited and you are absent. The output is a baseline across our five metrics plus a prioritised fix list. This is a one-time engagement and the natural first step.

2) Build (implementation). We act on the fix list: restructure key content into directly quotable answers, align structured data with the visible page, correct entity inconsistencies across your site and legitimate third-party profiles, resolve crawl blocks for AI bots, and plan the citations worth earning. The sprint is scoped from your audit, so you only pay to fix what the data showed.

3) Monitor (retainer). We re-run the same fixed prompt set every month, report the movement in share of voice, mention rate and citation rate, flag new and lost citations and any accuracy or sentiment changes, and recommend next-month actions. Because engine behaviour changes and competitors keep moving, GEO rewards consistency — which is what the retainer provides.

What you receive (deliverables)

  • Audit: a prompt-by-prompt report, your baseline across all five metrics, competitor share of voice, the source types the engines rely on, and a prioritised fix list tied to real pages and signals.
  • Build Sprint: implemented content, structured-data and entity corrections; a crawl-access review for AI bots; and a citation plan.
  • Retainer: a monthly AI Visibility report with trends, new and lost citations, accuracy and sentiment changes, and the next-month action plan.
  • Across all services: a transparent, auditable methodology and honest reporting — including when a metric does not move.

Why Generative Engine Agency: the AI Visibility Measurement framework

We compete on method and evidence, not adjectives. Our differentiator is a named, standardised framework that turns "are we visible in AI?" into five concrete metrics. Brand Mention Rate — how often engines name you. Citation Rate — how often they link you as a source. Share of Voice — your presence versus a fixed set of competitors. Citation Source Distribution — which source types the engines pull from, so you know where to invest. Conversion Contribution — how AI-driven visibility ties to qualified leads, where analytics access allows. The method is fixed so results are comparable over time: 20–30 real buyer prompts, tested across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Copilot and Claude, run three times each to account for variability, standardised and dated, then re-tested monthly. The full methodology is published on our research page so you — or a competitor — can scrutinise it.

Pricing (USD — transparent, confirm before publishing)

ServiceScopePrice (USD)
AI Visibility Audit20–30 prompts, baseline on 5 metrics, competitor gap, fix list$300–800 (one-time)
GEO Build SprintContent, schema, entity fixes, crawl access, citation plan$1,500–6,000
Monthly RetainerMonitoring, content, placements, monthly reporting$800–4,000/mo
Final scope follows your audit. What moves the price: number of target prompts and languages, content volume, competitiveness of your category, and the amount of third-party citation work that is realistic.

How we measure success

Success is movement in the five metrics over time, reported monthly with dates. Because large language model answers are non-deterministic — they vary by run, user and location — we test each prompt multiple times and report ranges rather than a single snapshot. Where you give us access, we connect this to Search Console and analytics so AI visibility ties back to organic sessions and qualified leads on the relevant pages. We report limitations honestly and never present a lucky single run as a trend.

Risks and limitations (so you can decide clearly)

GEO is newer and less predictable than mature SEO. We cannot guarantee that any engine will recommend your business; we improve and measure the inputs that make it more likely. Results depend on your starting authority, your competition, and how quickly agreed content and access changes are made — client approval speed is often the biggest variable. Engine behaviour changes, so this is an ongoing discipline rather than a one-off fix, which is why we are upfront that the retainer, not a single sprint, is where sustained gains come from.

Questions, answered
01What exactly is included in your GEO services?
Our GEO services span three stages that work together. The AI Visibility Audit is a one-time diagnostic: we test 20–30 real buyer prompts across the major engines and hand you a baseline across five metrics plus a prioritised fix list. The GEO Build Sprint implements the highest-impact fixes from that list — content restructuring, structured data, entity corrections, crawl access and a citation plan. The Monthly Retainer re-tests the same prompts every month, reports the movement, and keeps optimising as engines and competitors change. You can start with just the audit and decide from there; nothing obligates you to continue. The common thread is measurement, so every stage produces evidence rather than a vague deliverable you cannot verify.
02How do your GEO services differ from traditional SEO services?
Traditional SEO services aim to rank your pages in a list of links, where you still need a click. Our GEO services aim to get your brand named and cited inside the AI answer itself, which is increasingly where buyers build a shortlist before clicking anything. The two overlap — crawlable, genuinely useful content helps both — but GEO adds entity consistency so engines understand exactly what you are, content structured to be quoted directly, citations across the third-party sources AI systems trust, and crawl access for AI bots. Crucially, the success metric is different: we measure share of voice and brand mention rate across AI answers, not keyword positions. We explain the full distinction on our GEO vs SEO page.
03What does GEO cost, and how is pricing structured?
Pricing is by service and scope, in USD, and is confirmed before any public listing. The AI Visibility Audit typically runs $300–800 as a one-time engagement. The GEO Build Sprint generally falls between $1,500 and $6,000 depending on how much content and structured-data work the audit identified. The Monthly Retainer usually ranges from $800 to $4,000 per month. The variables that move price are the number of target prompts and languages, the competitiveness of your category, the volume of content to create or restructure, and how much realistic third-party citation work is involved. We scope the sprint and retainer directly from your audit, so you are never asked to commit to an open-ended figure before you can see your baseline and the specific fixes it justifies.
04What is the AI Visibility Measurement framework?
It is our standardised method for turning "are we visible in AI?" into five concrete metrics. Brand Mention Rate is how often engines name you. Citation Rate is how often they link you as a source. Share of Voice is your presence versus a fixed set of competitors. Citation Source Distribution shows which source types the engines pull from, so you know where to invest. Conversion Contribution ties AI visibility to qualified leads where analytics access allows. The method is fixed so results stay comparable: 20–30 real buyer prompts, tested across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Copilot and Claude, three runs each, standardised, dated, and re-tested monthly. The full methodology is public on our research page so it can be scrutinised.
05Which engines and languages do you cover?
We cover the engines your buyers actually use: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Google Gemini and Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Anthropic's Claude. During the audit we identify which of these your specific customers rely on and weight the work accordingly, rather than spreading effort evenly. On language, we can test and build in more than one language where your audience is multilingual, and earn citations in those languages where it fits. Many global providers optimise only in English, which hands other-language answers to competitors by default. Tell us your language mix early so we can plan coverage. We re-test the same engine and language set each month so your measurement stays consistent and comparable over the life of the engagement.
06Can you guarantee results or a specific ranking in AI answers?
No. AI engines decide what to say using models and sources outside any agency's control, and their answers vary by run, user and location and change over time, so we cannot guarantee a recommendation, a citation, or a ranking. Be wary of any provider that promises one. What we guarantee is process and transparency: we improve and measure the inputs that make a citation more likely — clear entity information, directly quotable content, a broad footprint of trusted mentions, accurate facts, and crawl access for AI bots — and we report honestly how your visibility moves against competitors, including when it does not. We would rather set accurate expectations and show real movement than sell a promise no legitimate GEO provider can keep.
07Do I need the full package, or can I start small?
You can start small. Most clients begin with the one-time AI Visibility Audit because it is low-commitment and gives you a baseline and a prioritised fix list you own regardless of whether you continue. From there you can take the fix list to your own team, commission a Build Sprint to implement the high-impact items, or move straight onto a Monthly Retainer if you want us to maintain and keep improving your visibility. There is no requirement to buy all three. We scope each stage from the evidence of the previous one, so you are always paying to fix something the data actually showed, rather than committing to a large retainer before you know what the problem is.
08How long does each service take, and when do results appear?
The audit is typically delivered within days of receiving your website, target market and competitor list. A Build Sprint runs over a few weeks depending on content volume and your approval speed. Results in AI answers vary: for less competitive, specific prompts we often see early movement within four to eight weeks, because AI visibility can build faster than traditional rankings; highly competitive prompts take longer and need sustained citation work. This is exactly why the retainer re-tests monthly — you watch the five metrics move rather than waiting blindly. Client approval speed is usually the biggest factor in how quickly changes take effect, since nothing improves until agreed content and access changes are actually implemented.
09How do your GEO services connect to leads and revenue?
Through the Conversion Contribution metric. Where you give us analytics and Search Console access, we connect AI-driven visibility to organic sessions and qualified leads on the relevant pages, so the work ties back to business outcomes rather than vanity numbers. We are candid about the limits here: AI answers often do not produce a trackable click, so attribution is imperfect and we never overclaim a direct revenue figure we cannot evidence. What we can show reliably is movement in mention rate, citation rate and share of voice, alongside whatever downstream signal your analytics captures. During onboarding we agree what is realistically measurable for your setup, so reporting reflects reality instead of a dashboard designed to look impressive.
10What makes you different from other GEO agencies?
Three things. First, a named, standardised measurement framework — five metrics, a fixed prompt set, three runs per prompt, re-tested monthly — published openly so it can be audited, where most competitors offer either vague "AI content" or an opaque dashboard. Second, transparent USD pricing tied to scope, rather than "contact us" opacity. Third, honest limitations: we tell you GEO cannot be guaranteed, we tell you when the spend is premature for your category, and we report when a metric does not move. We would rather be the provider you trust because our claims are verifiable than the one with the boldest promise. You can read the full methodology on our research page before you commit to anything.
